Biden urged to give material support to Balochistan, avoid Nixon-Kissinger mistake . Dr Tara Chand
WASHINGTON DC: The Baloch American Congress (BAC) Sunday asked the Biden administration not to repeat the mistake President Richard Nixon and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger made during the Bangladesh war of independence and to announce immediate moral, political and material support for those fighting for Balochistan right to self-determination.
“Nixon-Kissinger threw their weight behind the military government of Gen Yahya Khan when Pakistan soldiers were carrying out war crimes and crimes against humanity in the former East Pakistan, now Bangladesh,” Dr Tara Chand, president of the BAC, said in a statement.
“The US even sent it’s 7th Fleet in support of Pakistan military and that was one of the darkest moments of US diplomacy.”
He said the heroic uprising of the Baloch people as evidenced in Kech, Naushki and Panjgur has again proven to the world that the freedom aspirations of a people can never be crushed by even the most powerful adversary.
“The US must impose a no-fly zone over Balochistan and the Pentagon must not only to ensure none of U.S. arms are being used against the secular and freedom-loving Baloch people but the US must also prevail upon the military leadership to hold talks with the Baloch leadership for a viable solution to the Baloch question.”
He said the fate of at least 5,000 Baloch victims of enforced disappearances who are still in ISI torture cells is unknown and was a reason enough to penalize Pakistan army, ISI, Frontier Corps and Military Intelligence under the Leahy Act.
He cautioned the U.S. the Pakistani army spin doctors were trying to link the secular movement in Balochistan with the ISIS, though it’s an open secret that the army GHQ in Rawalpindi and the Aabpara headquarters of the ISI in Islamabad are the two most organized centers of global Islamic jihad.
“In the end, I request not only President Biden and Secretary Blinken but also Vice President Kamala Harris and Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman to speak out in one voice for the inalienable right of the people of Balochistan to be the masters of their own destiny.”

واشنگٹن ڈی سی: بلوچ امریکن کانگریس (بی اے سی) نے اتوار کو بائیڈن انتظامیہ سے کہا ہے کہ وہ صدر رچرڈ نکسن اور سیکریٹری آف اسٹیٹ ہنری کسنجر نے بنگلہ دیش کی جنگ آزادی کے دوران کی گئی غلطی کو نہ دہرایا جائے اور ان لوگوں کی فوری اخلاقی، سیاسی اور مادی حمایت کا اعلان کیا جائے۔ بلوچستان کا حق خودارادیت۔
بی اے سی کے صدر ڈاکٹر تارا چند نے ایک بیان میں کہا کہ نکسن کسنجر نے اپنا وزن جنرل یحییٰ خان کی فوجی حکومت کے پیچھے ڈال دیا جب پاکستانی فوجی سابق مشرقی پاکستان، اب بنگلہ دیش میں جنگی جرائم اور انسانیت کے خلاف جرائم کر رہے تھے۔ .
یہاں تک کہ امریکہ نے پاکستانی فوج کی حمایت میں اپنا ساتواں بحری بیڑہ بھیجا اور یہ امریکی سفارت کاری کے تاریک ترین لمحات میں سے ایک تھا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ کیچ، نوشکی اور پنجگور میں بلوچ عوام کی بہادرانہ بغاوت نے ایک بار پھر دنیا پر ثابت کر دیا ہے کہ کسی بھی قوم کی آزادی کی امنگوں کو طاقتور ترین دشمن بھی کبھی کچل نہیں سکتا۔
"امریکہ کو چاہیے کہ وہ بلوچستان پر نو فلائی زون نافذ کرے اور پینٹاگون کو نہ صرف یہ یقینی بنانا چاہیے کہ کوئی بھی امریکی ہتھیار سیکولر اور آزادی پسند بلوچ عوام کے خلاف استعمال نہ ہو، بلکہ امریکہ کو فوجی قیادت پر بھی غالب آنا چاہیے کہ وہ ان کے ساتھ مذاکرات کرے۔ بلوچ قیادت بلوچ سوال کے قابل عمل حل کے لیے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ جبری گمشدگیوں کا شکار ہونے والے کم از کم 5,000 بلوچوں کی قسمت جو اب بھی آئی ایس آئی کے ٹارچر سیلز میں ہیں معلوم نہیں ہے اور یہ پاکستان آرمی، آئی ایس آئی، فرنٹیئر کور اور ملٹری انٹیلی جنس کو لیہی ایکٹ کے تحت سزا دینے کے لیے کافی ہے۔
انہوں نے امریکہ کو خبردار کیا کہ پاکستانی فوج کے سپن ڈاکٹر بلوچستان میں سیکولر تحریک کو داعش سے جوڑنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں، حالانکہ یہ کھلا راز ہے کہ راولپنڈی میں آرمی جی ایچ کیو اور اسلام آباد میں آئی ایس آئی کا آبپارہ ہیڈ کوارٹر عالمی سطح کے دو منظم مراکز ہیں۔ اسلامی جہاد۔
"آخر میں، میں نہ صرف صدر بائیڈن اور سیکرٹری بلنکن بلکہ نائب صدر کملا ہیرس اور ڈپٹی سیکرٹری آف سٹیٹ وینڈی آر شرمین سے بھی درخواست کرتا ہوں کہ وہ بلوچستان کے عوام کے ناقابل تسخیر حق کے لیے ایک آواز میں آواز اٹھائیں کہ وہ ان کے مالک ہونے کے قابل ہیں۔ اپنی تقدیر۔"
